Another Award Added To Reynolds' Mantel

The hits keep coming for University of Houston senior running back Joffrey Reynolds (Tyler, Texas), as The Sporting News today named him the 2002 Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year. Reynolds also was selected on TSN's 2002 All-Conference USA Team.
It is the second time in two days that a national publication tabbed Reynolds with such an honor. College Football News awarded POY honors to Reynolds yesterday.

* C-USA single-season record 1,545 rushing yards--total was third-best seasonal rushing mark in UH history.
* Became only the third player in UH history to rush for more than 1,500 yards in a single season.
* C-USA single-season record and UH single-season record 316 rushing attempts.
* C-USA single-season record eight 100-yard rushing games.
* Ranked fifth in UH career history with 13 100-yard rushing games.
* Third in C-USA single-season history with 128.8 rushing yards per game.

* Led team with 11 rushing touchdowns and 13 overall touchdowns.
