Houston, Texas - After watching rain fall most of the day, University of Houston head football coach Dana Dimel moved his team's practice inside the Yeoman Fieldhouse on the UH campus.
The Cougars have an open week on their schedule before they travel to Memphis for a Conference USA game on November 2.
"We will focus on putting a few new wrinkles in our offense this week," Dimel said. "We also want to begin developing a defensive game plan to stop (the Tigers') talented offense.
"They have a quarterback who is a tough competitor and can sling the ball down the field and two good running backs. This will be a tough road game for us when we play at Memphis."
Houston will practice on Wednesday and Thursday before taking Friday and Saturday off. The Cougars will return for a practice on Sunday night at Robertson Stadium.
