UH Track Teams Travel To LSU

Baton Rouge, La. - The University of Houston men's and women's track and field teams will travel to Baton Rouge, La., where the Cougars will compete in the LSU Paper Tiger Invitational on Saturday, January 26.
Houston's men's and women's teams are among 28 teams who will be competing in the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational. Besides Houston and LSU, other prominent programs at the meet includes the University of Texas men's team, Alabama's women's teams in addition to the men's and women's teams from Baylor, Arizona State and Rice.
A majority of the teams from the state of Louisiana will also compete at the meet.
The meet will have a morning and evening sessions. The morning field events with start at 9:30 a.m., while the morning running events with begin at 10:30 a.m. The evening session field events kick off at 1:00 p.m. and the evening running events will start at 4:00 p.m.
