Houston - The University of Houston football team had a special visitor watching their practice on Thursday. Former UH Heisman Trophy quarterback Andre Ware was on hand to watch the Cougars work out in preparation for the Homecoming Game this Saturday against Cincinnati.
Ware had a first-hand look at Houston's final regular season opponent, Georgia, as he made his debut as a sideline reporter for CBS Sports broadcast of Georgia's 26-24 victory at then No. Six Tennessee on October 6. Ware will be watching the Bulldogs play again next week when he will be the sideline reporter for CBS's broadcast of Georgia at Florida.
This week, he will have a chance to witness his alma mater take on the top team in Conference USA, Cincinnati, at John O'Quinn Field.
