Former UH Soccer Standout Named Assistant Coach

As a Cougar, Denomme´ played in and started 31 games while posting 7.5 career shutouts. During the 1998 campaign, she earned Soccer Buzz All-National, All-Central Region and All Conference USA second team honors. During that same season she also became the first player in C-USA women's soccer history to win consecutive C-USA Player of the Week awards (Sept. 21 and Sept. 28). In 1999, Denomme´ received All C-USA third team honors despite going down midway through the season with a season-ending knee injury during a home contest against Southern Miss.
Prior to her arrival at Houston, the London, Ontario native played two seasons at the University of Nebraska where she posted a total 61 shutouts and helped lead the Cornhuskers to the 1996 Big 12 Conference Championship. As a club team member, Denomme´ excelled on the Ontario Provincial team from 1994-95 and the Canadian Under-20 National team. She also played for the London United Soccer Club from 1992-'95 where she was MVP in 1994 and team captain in 1995. In addition, Denomme´ was member of Marconi soccer team in 1998.
