• Tyler Kishbaugh joined University of Houston Football in January 2024 as its Assistant Strength Coach. The 2025 season will be his second with the Cougars after spending two seasons in the same capacity at Tulane (2022-23).
• At Tulane, Kishbaugh was responsible for weight room programming and skill positions as well as all aspects of return to play for football. He led and programmed FRC mobility routines for pregame and lift sessions and played an integral role in the Green Wave’s historic two-year run which included two American Athletic Conference Championship appearances, one league title and a Cotton Bowl victory over No. 9 USC. In addition to Football, he handled all aspects of training for Volleyball and Swimming & Diving.
• Prior to Tulane, Kishbaugh spent eight months (Sept. 2021 – April 2022) as Temple’s Assistant Strength Coach. There, he handled all aspects of training for Men’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s Golf, Fencing and Dance & Cheer.
• Kishbaugh joined Temple following an eight-month part time role (January-August 2021) as North Carolina’s Assistant Athletic Performance Coach. There, he was responsible for all aspects of training for Baseball, Throws, Rowing and Diving. The stint was his second with the Tar Heels after serving as Athletic Performance Intern (January-April 2019), where he assisted with training of Men’s & Women’s Lacrosse, Baseball, Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Women’s Field Hockey, Wrestling, Women’s volleyball, Swimming and Track and Field while also overseeing rehabilitation for ACL ruptures and ankle surgeries with Women’s Lacrosse student-athletes.
• Kishbaugh also served two Sports Performance Intern stints at Villanova (August 2019-June 2020; May-July 2018). During the latter, he oversaw training for Football rehab, Sprints, Jumps and Cheerleading while assisting with Football, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse and Women’s Volleyball. During his first stint, he facilitated teach stretches pre-and-post lift. He also supervised the team’s nutrition room. Kishbaugh also spent four months as a Strength & Conditioning Intern at Ithaca College where he implemented programs for developmental student-athletes and led groups through warm-ups and cool downs.
• Kishbaugh received his Bachelor of Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning from Ithaca College in May 2019. There, he played defensive back and was named to All-Conference in the Liberty League and was recognized on the conference’s All-Academic Team. In May 2021, he earned his Master of Exercise Science in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania.
• Kishbaugh is an NSCA certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, a certified Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist and is certified by the American Red Cross in CPR/AED/First Aid.
