Sharif-Deen Ajaga

Sharif-Deen Ajaga was named the Director of Development-Internal Operations inside the the Houston Athletics Cougar Pride department after joining the department as Director of Information Management and Analytics in September 2022 following seven years in the Houston Athletics Ticket Office where he served in various roles.
In his current role, Agaja supports the management of donor information systems, gift processing and reporting in order to direct core fundraising, premium related ticket sales and retention activities while coordinating with University Advancement to manage the recurring reconciliation and compliance with University records.
He spent the 2021-22 Athletic year as an Assistant Director of Ticket Operations and the 2019-21 years as a Ticket Operations Coordinator.
Ajaga began his career in collegiate athletics as a gameday ticket sales and operations intern in August 2015.
He was born in Chicago to immigrant parents and relocated to Nigeria at the age of five following his parents’ completion of their master’s degrees. He completed the majority of his education in Nigeria before moving to Houston.
He earned his degree in Sociology and Public Relations from the University of Houston in December 2018.
