With 20+ years of sports and entertainment industry experience, Shane Hildreth is currently the General Manager of Houston Cougar Sports Properties. As General Manager, Shane oversees all aspects of the multimedia rights partnership between Learfield and the University of Houston Athletics.

Before joining UH Athletics in 2023, Shane was most recently CEO of VYPE Media, a company that provides exclusive content and marketing services for high schools and youth organizations. Other previous roles include IMG College where Shane was the VP of Regional Sales over the Southwest focused on revenue generating programs across multiple University Ahtletic programs from Nebraska to Texas, while also managing the day-to-day operations for University of Houston, Rice University and the Red River Showdown; Director of Sponsorship Sales for the Houston Astros; Corporate Development Manager for the Houston Texans and Lone Star Sports and Entertainment; Account Executive for Clear Channel Radio Houston.

Shane currently resides in Houston, Texas with his wife Regay and children, Audrey (17) and James (15). When off the clock, he’s either hunting, fishing, golfing or at one of his kids sporting events.
