Nam Nguyen joined the University of Houston Department of Athletics as assistant business administrator for business operations in October 2017.
Before joining Athletics, Nguyen served as the financial coordinator with the College of Technology from 2014 to 2017. He also served as a state tax auditor with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts from 2010 to 2014.
In addition to his Athletics responsibilites, Nguyen also serves as a committee representative for the University of Houston Staff Council and university advisor for the University of Houston Vietnamese Student Association.
He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Houston in 2007 and 2008, respectively. Nguyen also holds a certified public accountant license through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
