Emily Kolasheski joined Houston Athletics as Assistant Director of Performance Nutrition in September 2026, working with the baseball, women's soccer and swimming & diving teams.
Kolasheski arrives in Houston after spending more than five years with Texas A&M Athletics in a variety of performance nutrition roles. Most recently, she served as a Performance Dietitian, overseeing nutrition services for baseball, men's and women's golf, and women's soccer. She also completed a Football Dietitian Fellowship, where she supported 143 football student-athletes, managed fueling operations, and supervised a team of student workers while collaborating with coaches, athletic trainers, and support staff across the department.
In addition to her collegiate athletics experience, Kolasheski completed a 10-month ACEND-accredited dietetic internship at Massachusetts General Hospital, gaining experience across a variety of clinical and sports nutrition settings. She further expanded her sports nutrition background during an internship with Providence College Athletics, where she worked with student-athletes from 18 varsity programs.
Kolasheski earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas A&M in 2022 and her Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Georgia in 2024. She is a member of the Sports and Human Performance Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group and the American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association.
