Christina Erwin joined the University of Houston in June 2018 and serves as the Director of Compliance after her promotion in October 2022. Erwin previously held the role of an athletic certification official in the Office of the University Registrar and in the athletics department's Academic Center for Excellence.

As an athletic certification official, Erwin prepares documentation, reviews and certifies all 450-plus student-athletes academic eligibility while keeping track of initial and transfer eligibility of all incoming student-athletes. Erwin also serves as the transfer portal contact.

Prior to her time on Cullen Blvd, Erwin spent a season as a Game Day Ambassador at the University of Texas with Longhorn Foundation. Erwin also worked at Texas' Gregory Gym as an activity supervisor during her time as an undergrad in Austin.

Erwin is a 2017 graduate from Texas with a Bachelors of Science in sport management with a minor in business.

Christina and her husband, Mickie, have two children, Mia Elle and Easton Michael.
