- Her father played football for Illinois (2003-04) and was drafted in the 2005 NFL Draft (2nd round, 60th overall) by the Indianapolis Colts (2005-10), where he won a Super Bowl (XLI) ring. He also played for the Atlanta Falcons (2011) and Chicago Bears (2012-14)
- Most memorable athletic accomplishment: Winning state in the 4x400-meter relay
