Fall -- Made his season debut at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic... Tied for 21st at 219, including a Second-Round 71. Spring -- Made his season debut at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational at Cypresswood Golf Club... Tied for 62nd with score of 231... Posted a 70 in the Second Round of that tournament.
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2015-16)
Fall -- Made his Houston debut at the season-opening Northern Intercollegiate... Tied for 57th at that event with a score of 235... Captured the first individual title of his collegiate career at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic at Golfcrest Country Club in Pearland, Texas... Won on the second hole of a playoff against McNeese State's Robert MacIntyre... Fired three straight rounds of par or better for a score of 5-under-par 211. Spring -- Made his season debut at the President's Day Challenge... Tied for ninth at 148... Finished in a tie for 10th at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational with a score of 217... Fired a 70 in the Second Round of that event. Summer -- Tied for 11th at the Texas Amateur Championship at Oak Hills Country Club... Opened tournament with a 69 and followed with a 71 in the Second Round.
JUNIOR (2014-15)
Sat out as a redshirt after transferring from Air Force. Summer -- Earned a place in the U.S. Amateur Championship after finishing winning a qualifier at The Woodlands Country Club with a score of 141.
PRE-HOUSTON
Sophomore (2013-14): Competed in five tournaments... Recorded a 74.0 scoring average and a pair of top-10 finishes... Tied for second at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational with a score of 7-under-par 209... Followed that with an eighth-place showing at the CU Invitational with a score of 219. Freshman (2012-13): Competed at the CU Invitational... Fired a career-low 75 in the second round and finished in a tie for 78th at 235.
CYPRESS CREEK HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterman and team captain for head coach Philip Franklin... Won three individual titles... Finished second at the Class 5A State Championship as a senior... Captured the Region III individual championship... Earned medalist honors at the 2011 Starburst Junior Classic... Set the course record with a 61 at Blackhorse Golf Club in Cypress, Texas, to win a Texas Junior event in January 2012...
