In two seasons with the Cougars, Peck has been a leader of two NCAA Regional squads and the 2025 All-American Intercollegiate team champions.
as ASSISTANT COACH
In 2024-25, Peck helped lead Houston to five Top-Four team finishes with the team championship at the All-American Intercollegiate at Golf Club of Houston in February 2024.
The Cougars advanced to NCAA Regional play for the 11th time during his tenure and the fifth consecutive season.
Senior Wolfgang Glawe was named to the Big 12 Championships All-Tournament Team after tying for third at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.
During the 2023-24 season, Peck helped lead the Cougars to five Top-Five team finishes with fourth-place showings at the season-opening Argent Financial Classic and the Big 12 Match-Play Tournament in the fall.
The Cougars tied for sixth at the Big 12 Championships during their first appearance in the league’s annual postseason event and tied for sixth at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional, only three strokes shy of advancing to the NCAA Championships.
Senior Santiago De La Fuente was named the Big 12 Player of the Year, his second straight season to collect that honor from a league, and received All-America Second-Team recognition.
Peck came to Houston after spending the 2022-23 season as an assistant coach at UCF. In his lone season with the Knights, he helped lead UCF to the team championship at the Hartford Hawks Invitational and a pair of individual showing at the NCAA Salem Regional.
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Peck competed for seven years as a professional golfer.
Dismuke was familiar with Peck when the Cougars’ coaching position came open. As an assistant coach at Texas A&M during the 2008-09 season, Dismuke recruited Peck to join the Aggies.
PLAYING CAREER
A native of Olympia, Wash., Peck was an award-winning star at Texas A&M from 2009 to 2013. He was a four-time PING All-Region selection and was a three-time All-American with the Aggies. In addition, he earned All-Conference honors in three of his four seasons.
Peck lettered each year and ranked third in the Texas A&M career records book with a 72.37 scoring average. By the time his collegiate career finished, his 160 rounds, 490 birdies and 77 rounds of par or better were the most in school history.
During the 2010-11 season, Peck fired a 9-under 63, which remains tied for the lowest round in Texas A&M history. He also finished third as an individual at the 2010 NCAA Championships.
In 2013, he captured the prestigious Washington State Amateur Championship title and the Pacific Northwest Golf Association (PNGA) Amateur crown.
Prior to his collegiate career, Peck won the U.S. Amateur Junior Championship in 2008 and was tabbed the AJGA Rolex Junior Player of the Year that season. In 2009, he received the Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Award.
As a professional, Peck played on the PGA Tour Canada following his graduation through September 2017. He turned in his best showing as a professional at the 2016 Players Cup, where he tied for second with a four-day total of 18-under 266.
In addition to his on-course achievements, Peck was an SEC Academic Honor Roll member and received his bachelor’s degree in agricultural leadership and development from Texas A&M in 2014.
