Emily Muse joined University of Houston Football as its Director of On-Campus Recruiting in March 2024. The 2025 season will be her second with the program.
In her current role, Muse plans and executes all on-campus recruiting activities including travel logistics and prospect communication.
She also assists in creating and designing recruiting themes for printed and digital materials as well as photo shoots. Muse manages Houston’s student intern staff and oversees their assistance at events and office hours.
Prior to Houston, Muse spent nine months as Kansas State’s Assistant Director of On-Campus Recruiting. With the Wildcats, she supported all on-campus recruiting activities and collaborated with various departments within athletic, campus and the community.
Muse previously worked at Eastern Kentucky as the Director of Recruiting Operations. There, she was responsible for all on-campus recruiting efforts as well as assisting in team operations and development.
Muse got her start as a Recruiting & Operations Intern at Appalachian State University. In this role she served as a Game Day Coordinator for the student recruiting department and assisted the coaching staff with daily office operations.
A Native of Pinehurst, North Carolina, Muse earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Appalachian State University in 2021 where she graduated cum laude.
