Switched over to fullback in spring after a year at linebacker... tough, durable player who is not afraid to mix it up inside... enjoyed a productive spring and will battle for playing time with John Harrell at fullback... a walk on who has impressed the coaching staff with his aggressive play... 2004: Played in seven games last season on special teams... registered five tackles including two versus TCU... had first career forced fumble at Southern Miss... Prior to Houston: Played for East Los Angeles from Fall 2001 to Spring 2003... earned First-Team, All-Conference defense ... also received First-Team, All-State defense honors... was nominated for All-American honors... against Citrus College, he recorded 16 tackles, a sack, and an interception... against Compton College, he recorded 11 tackles and had 2 forced fumbles ...
