• AJ Hopp joined the Houston Football program as an offensive graduate assistant in the spring of 2017.
• Hopp joined Houston after two seasons as an offensive graduate assistant at Mississippi State where he assisted with the Bulldogs’ offensive line.
• Prior to his time with MSU, Hopp spent two seasons as an offensive graduate assistant at Florida Atlantic University.
• While playing on the offensive line at Slippery Rock, Hopp was a three-year starter and received the PSAC Scholar Athlete Award all four years from 2007 to 2011.
• He was named second team Division II Capital One Academic All-American and received the Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award in 2008 to 2011. Was the team captain in his senior year and was a member of the 2011 PSAC Western Division Conference Championship team.
