- Scored for the Cougars and set a personal best in the 8K at the Texas A&M Invitational, finishing in 24:55.2 and placing 49th overall (Sept 13).Â
- Made season debut and career best in in men’s 6k at the UIW Twilight with a time of 18:48.1 (Aug 30).Â
- One of three freshmen to compete in all five meets.Â
- Made collegiate debut at the Lamar Early Bird Opener.Â
- Ran a personal best 8-kilometer time at the Arturo Barrios Invitational (25:29.3).

- Has one sister, Kirsten and one brother, Austin
- Grandfather, Terry Snyder played basketball at Texas Western/UTEP from 1965-66
- Grandmother, Patty Snyder played tennis at UTEP from 1970-74
- Mother, Shari played tennis at St. Edwards from 1996-97 and Lamar from 1998-00
- Grandfather, Clemon L. Flowers played baseball and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 1958.
