JUNIOR (2018)
Made his season debut in the Aggie Opener, where he finished 19th after running the 6K in 19:28.8...finished 26th at the Norry Hersey Rice Invitational (4M) and posted a lifetime best at 21:07.6... posted a lifetime best at the final three meets of the season including a 72nd-place finish at The American Championships.
SOPHOMORE (2017)
Competed in five meets during his sophomore season...Ran the 8K at The American Championships in 28:25.6 to finish 72nd...Finished eighth at the HBU/UH dual with a time of 18:27.2 in the 3-mile race...Ran a personal-best 26:24.8 in the 8K of the Texas A&M Invitational on Sept. 23.
FRESHMAN (2016)
Ran in five meets during his first season on campus...Finished the year with a 61st-place finish at The American Outdoor Championships in 28:01.7...Opened his career with a time of 16:48.0 in the 5K at the Lumberjack Preview to place 26th.
HIGH SCHOOL
Competed for Kenneth Lucero and the Trailblazers at Americas High School in El Paso...ranked fourth in the state of Texas in the 800m after running a 1:53.34 in 2014...Ran 49.16 in the 400m which placed him 19th in the state of Texas in 2014...Holds five school records at Americas High School including the 400m, 800m, 1600m, 300m hurdles and 4x400m relay.

Full name is Cameron Albert Laverty...son of Dale and Kim Laverty...has one younger brother, Jared (11)...won the 2015 Trailblazer Award as well as 2015 All-Americas Boy...enjoys long boarding in his spare time.
