The Cage is the official student section of Houston Men’s Basketball — a relentless wall of red that delivers one of the most electric home court advantages in the country. From the first whistle to the final buzzer, The Cage fuels the Fertitta Center with constant energy, deafening noise, and unwavering pride — and it doesn’t stop there. ENTRY FOR MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Student Entrance is located at the Cullen BLVD entrance of Fertitta Center. The first 400 students who enter through the student section entrance will receive a wristband to sit in the Cage by showing a valid UH Student ID after they scan into the game.First come, first serve general admission seating is available to the first 400 students in the Fertitta Center Cage Student Section Courtside Bleachers. Students will be directed into one of three lines. 1) Cage Fast Pass Line, 2) Ticket w/ no Fast Pass, 3) Student without a ticket holding area. Students with a Cage Fast Pass will enter the building 15 minutes prior to doors opening (approx. 75 minutes prior to the announced tip-off time for each game). Students with a ticket will be scanned into the game when doors open 60 minutes prior to the announced tipoff time for each game. After all of the Cage Fast Pass students have been scanned into the game, students without a ticket will be directed from the holding area into the empty Fast Pass line. Limited additional student tickets will be come available to these students after tip-off on a first-come-first-serve basis. No seat saving is allowed. After the courtside bleachers are full in the Cage, students will be directed to sit in general admission seating in section 109 above the band. After the student section seats are full, limited standing room only admission will be available after tip-off behind Sections 110 and 116. Doors will open 75 minutes prior for Cage Fast Pass students and 60 mins for everyone else prior to the announced tip-off time for each game.

For only $15, the Cage Fast Pass gives UH students access 15 minutes before doors open on game day. Your pass includes: A custom Cage Fast Pass wristband Automatic membership in The Cage Student Section Group — with all its perks and benefits Important: The Cage Fast Pass DOES NOT include a game ticket or guarantee a spot in The Cage courtside bleachers. Wristbands can be picked up at a designated time and location in early October (details coming soon).
