University of Houston Football makes its 31st all-time bowl appearance when the Cougars face off against the LSU Tigers in the Kinder’s Texas Bowl. Houston won five of its final seven games to finish the regular season at 9-3 overall.

ZIEGENBOCK KICKOFF CONCERT PRESENTED BY KROGER

The evening will open with Houston-based folk-country duo The Magnolia Brothers and end with southern-rock headliner Mike Ryan. Plus, enjoy rallies and giveaways from the Cougars and Tigers spirit teams and delicious food and beverage options. This concert will go FAST.

KARBACH LOVE STREET TEXFEST

Join us outside of NRG Stadium beginning at 4:15 PM before Houston takes on LSU for the Karbach Love Street TexFest – the official pregame party for the 2025 Kinder’s Texas Bowl on December 27. NRG Stadium is the only rodeo and NFL indoor/outdoor retractable roof stadium that can be configured to utilize a 125,000 square foot space for general sessions, catered functions, exhibits, concerts, and much more.
NRG Stadium sets the perfect stage for exhibits, concerts, and professional or amateur sporting events, and provides incredible club level meeting spaces for general sessions and catered functions. In addition, NRG Stadium offers four massive concourse levels for special events. The design of the stadium roof provides a very flexible rigging configuration for major *audio and visual* presentations. 198 suites complement NRG Stadium.
