2021 End-of-Year Giving Procedures
The Cougar Pride Athletic Fund Office will be closed from Friday, December 24, 2021, through Friday, December 31, 2021 and will return to the office on Monday, January 3, 2022. If you wish to make a gift for 2021, please do so online at https://giving.uh.edu/cougarpride.
Online gifts by credit card:
Gifts must be completed online before midnight, Friday, December 31, 2021. Online gifts may be made at https://giving.uh.edu/cougarpride.
Gifts by mailed check:
Checks mailed to the Cougar Pride Athletic Fund must have a 2021 postmark to be processed with a 2021 date of record on the gift for tax purposes. Checks may be mailed to the attention of the Cougar Pride Athletic Fund at 3204 Cullen Blvd., Ste. 2004, Houston, TX 77204.
Gifts of securities and wire/ACH:
It is to your advantage to give instructions to your broker or financial institution well in advance of the end of the year, preferably immediately. The final day of business for the University of Houston is Thursday, December 23, 2021.
The date of record is the date UH takes possession of the securities or wire/ACH and must be received by Friday, December 31, 2021, in order to be considered for 2021 tax purposes.
