Coogs have landed at DFW Airport... After a long walk or a packed Skyline trip to Terminal D, coaches, student-athletes and families have scattered throughout to grab lunch. Group has received their per diem for the trip and many are exchanging some of their money to euros. Flight will be departing Dallas at 1:40 p.m., for 10-hour, 20-minute flight to Rome

As the Cougars and their families grab some breakfast in the Guy V. Lewis Development Facility this morning, we wanted to share some details about the trip.
The Cougars will travel 5,686 miles to reach Rome on Thursday morning (Rome time). The team's flight from Dallas will take approximately 10 hours and 20 minutes.
This won't be the only travel the Cougars have during the 2019-20 season. The team will compete in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic, beginning at 2 p.m. (CDT), Dec. 22, against Portland inside the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, a distance of 3,892 miles.

The University of Houston Men's Basketball team begins its 11-day trip to Italy this morning. The Cougars will depart from the Guy V. Lewis Development Facility at 8 a.m., today, for their bus trip to Bush Intercontinental Airport.
From their, the team will fly to Dallas before flying out to Rome later this afternoon. The Cougars are scheduled to arrive in Rome around 7 a.m. (Rome) time, which is around midnight (CDT). After breakfast in the team hotel, the Cougars will begin their tour of the city of Rome.
This will be the Cougars' second international trip under two-time, defending American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Kelvin Sampson. Prior to the 2014-15 season, Houston traveled to China.
