What is the Extra Yard for Teachers Program?
The American Athletic Conference has partnered with the College Football Playoff to participate in the Extra Yard for Teachers initiative. As a part of this program, UH Athletics has the ability to award up to $10,000 to Houston-area teachers who submit their project through Donorschoose.org.
The College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation is the charitable arm of the College Football Playoff, using the popular platform of college football and the national championship game to support education across the country.
Extra Yard for Teachers is the CFP Foundation's primary cause platform that seeks to elevate the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers.

* Teachers, for your class project to be eligible, you must submit your project through Donorschoose.org.
OFFICIAL RULES
• Project must be submitted by a Houston-area teacher in grades Pre K - 8
• Deadline for submission is 5 p.m., Oct. 14
