The Cougars were swept in singles by the Razorbacks, with junior Galina Seliounina and sophomore Joanna Cunliffe bringing both their matches to a third and decicive set.
Houston's (6-8) high point of the match was a win by the No. 39 ranked tandem of Seliounina and sophomore Sarah Borwell 8-6. It marks their eleventh consecutive win improving their overall record this season to 22-5. The Cougars than suffered defeats in the final two doubles matches.
Houston will next play on Saturday, March 27 at 10 a.m. against Fresno State in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
