Brett Cooley has been a solid part of the University of Houston baseball program since joining the team in 2002. This season he has been named both hitter of the week and pitcher of the week and is the team leader in hits, home runs, runs batted in and total bases. The son of Tom and Kathie Cooley, he is majoring in communications.
2003 SEASON
Was expected to be a major contributor before a hamstring injury in prematurely ended his season.
2002 SEASON
Led team with 18 home runs, the second highest total in UH single-season history... Second on squad with 56 RBIs and topped Cougars with 17 doubles.... Led all players with a .648 slugging percentage.
