Stephanie Dishman joined the University of Houston Athletics Compliance Office as assistant director in October 2014 and was promoted to associate director in June 2016.
As a member of the Compliance Office, Dishman assists with all 17 Houston sport programs. She researches NCAA rules and provides interpretations for coaches, administrators and staff, creates and presents rules education for coaches and student-athletes and evaluates prospective student-athlete transcripts.
She first joined UH as a Compliance assistant in May 2012 before being promoted to her current position.
Dishman received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Oklahoma in May 2011. As an undergraduate, she was named to Kappa Tau Alpha and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Societies and was named to the Dean's Honor Roll multiple times.
After graduating, Dishman earned her juris doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2014 and was admitted to the Texas Bar later that year.
She and her husband, Brett, live in Houston.
