Paul Cataldo joined Houston Athletics in August 2014 as an intern with the Compliance and Eligibility Office. In that role, he will coordinate transfer information requests.
In addition to his Athletics responsibilities, he also is a J.D. candidate at the University of Houston Law Center. He serves as the president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Organization and is historian for the Hispanic Law Students Association.
Cataldo received his bachelor's degree in television-radio/sports media from Ithaca College in 2008. He was a three-year letterman in football and one-year letterman in track and field and was selected to present at the 2008 Conference for Undergraduate Research in Communications.
After graduating from Ithaca, he worked as a production assistant for ESPN in Bristol, Conn., where he researched, wrote and produced features and segments for Outside the Lines daily and Sunday programs.
He also continued his football career with the Connecticut Bearcats, and was a three-time New England Football League All Star from 2009 to 2011.
