Jake Martin joined the University of Houston Athletics Department in February 2016 as an Ticket Sales account executive.
He will assist in ticket sales for all Houston sport programs while driving revenue for the Athletics Department through premium seating, season tickets, group tickets and single-game tickets.
Before coming to Houston, Martin served as an inside sales consultant with the NFL's Cleveland Brown. There, he executed sales calls promoting full-menu packages, including suites, premium clubs, general clubs, general admission, group tickets and group flyer campaigns.
Martin, who is a native of Dublin, Ohio, was part of a sales team that enjoyed three straight years of record revenue.
Prior to entering the professional ranks, Martin worked as an Athletics Development intern at the University of Cincinnati, where he collaborated in providing customer service to UC season-ticket holders, student-athletes, staff and donors.
Martin also worked for two years at Ohio State as a summer sports camp office associate.
He received his bachelor's degree in sports administration from Cincinnati in 2015.
