Indoor: Finished in fourth place at the Conference USA Championships after clearing 4.60 meters (15-1) to equal his season best...also cleared 4.60 meters at the Houston Indoor Opener to finish in sixth place. Outdoor: Cleared an outdoor season-best of 4.70 meters (15-5) to finish in 10th place at the LSU Alumni Gold...finished in fifth place at the Rice All-Comers meet and in sixth place at the California Golden Bear Invitational.

Outdoor: Had a season-best mark of 15-7 at the Texas Invitational...was the runner-up at the Texas Southern Relays...finished in eighth place at the Conference USA Championships and Texas A&M All-Comers meet.

Indoor: Posted a sesaon-best vault of 15-5 at the
UH/RunSport All-Comers meet... Placed eighth at the Southwest Classic with a vault of 15-03.00...finished fifth at the Leonard Hilton Invitational. Outdoor: Did not compete in any meets.

A teammate of fellow Sophomore Daniel Patton at Tomball High School... 15-5A District Champion and Region Champion in 2001...placed fourth at the State 5A meet in his senior season.
