Houston-Texas Tech Kick Time, Network Announced

Cougars set for primetime kickoff against Texas Tech on Sept. 18
HOUSTON – In coordination with the Big 12 Conference and network partners, the University of Houston Football program announced its first kick time and network designation ahead of the 2026 season with the Cougars set to play Texas Tech at 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 on FOX.
Houston's first of two Friday night game of the season will be at reigning Big 12 Champion Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas.
The Big 12 and network partners will announce Houston's second Friday night game of the season against Colorado at a later date.
Additional kick times and network designations will be released soon.
SEASON TICKETS
University of Houston Football season tickets are on sale for the 2026 season. For as low as $150, fans can get in on the excitement of Year 3 of the Head Coach Willie Fritz era with pivotal matchups against Oregon State, Southern, UCF, Oklahoma State, Cincinnati and Baylor as the Cougars look to improve on their 10-win season in 2025.
