HOUSTON – The Houston Swimming & Diving team released its 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday. The slate features six meets at home as well as competitions against Texas A&M, LSU and Rice.
In line with years past, Houston starts its season by splitting the Swimming and Diving squads for the opening weekend. Swimming heads across town for the Rice Fall Splash while Diving hosts the Houston Diving Invitational at CRWC Natatorium on Oct. 10-11.
After two weeks off, the team returns to the pool on Oct. 30 for a dual meet against Texas A&M. The Aggies finished last season ranked at #20 in the CSCAA Poll.
The following week, Houston heads to Baton Rouge, La., for a quad meet against #19 LSU, Tulane and Rice on Nov. 8.
The Cougars return home for its midseason invite, the Phill Hansel Invitational, running from Nov. 19-21. They then wrap up their fall semester slate with the US Open (Dec. 4-6) and a dual meet at Kansas (Dec. 6).
Following winter break, Houston dives back into action by hosting the Big 12 East Showdown, hosting Iowa State, Cincinnati, West Virginia and TCU on Jan. 16-17 for a preview of the Big 12 Championships.
Two weeks later, the Cougars host their final dual meet of the season against Rice on Jan. 31 before also hosting a First Chance Meet on Feb. 6-7.
The Big 12 Championships run from Feb. 24-28 in Greensboro, N.C., followed by NCAA Diving Zones running from March 9-11 at Texas A&M. The season concludes with the NCAA Championships hosted by Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Ga., from March 18-21.
