Kimble Records Personal Best in Javelin Throw to Open Mt. SAC Relays

Javelin throwers Paris Kimble, Izac Canchola first to compete in Walnut, Calif.
WALNUT, Calif. – Freshman Paris Kimble set a personal best and graduate Izac Canchola had his best outing since the outdoor season opener in the javelin throw at Mt. SAC Relays on Thursday.

Kimble, who finished with a final throw of 41.50 (136'-2) meters, set a personal best and moved up to sixth all-time in school history. Kimble's mark landed her at 11th place in the event.

Canchola threw for 65.52 (215') meters to finish sixth overall in the men's javelin competition. This is Canchola's best mark since the Kirk Baptiste Spring Break Invitational where he threw for 70.09 (229'-11) meters, the 25th best throw in the nation.
