Houston Partners with SIDEARM Sports for Digital Platform Refresh

UHCougars.com receives redesign featuring latest NextGen Technology
HOUSTON – University of Houston Athletics has extended its existing partnership with SIDEARM Sports, launching a dynamic redesign to enhance functionality for UHCougars.com on Wednesday.
The new-look website utilizes SIDEARM's NextGen Technology to offer faster site loads, enhanced security and a more user-friendly design. NextGen is the latest version of SIDEARM's revolutionary technology and provides users cutting-edge updates to the software that has powered college athletics for more than 20 years.
"We are proud to elevate our partnership with SIDEARM Sports and deliver our fans a powerful and efficient official online home in UHCougars.com," Associate Athletics Director for Strategic Communications Andrew Pate said. "We are thankful for the leadership from our partners at SIDEARM as well as LEARFIELD's Houston Sports Properties in making this a possibility and are excited to offer an enhanced experience for site visitors."
In conjunction with the redesign of UHCougars.com, the Houston Athletics mobile app will also be upgraded. Beginning March 6, version 2.0 of the Houston Athletics mobile app will be available for free download/updating for both iOS and Android devices.
Like UHCougars.com updates, the new mobile app will feature improved schedule listings, ticket management, event push notifications and personalized experiences.
