Student-Athlete Development, Cougar Pride team up for “Hire A Coog! Career Fair”
HOUSTON – University of Houston Student-Athlete Development and Cougar Pride have partnered for an upcoming "Hire A Cougar! Career Fair" set for Monday, April 17 at 6 p.m. in the Cougar Club at TDECU Stadium.
The event aims to provide student-athletes a hands-on experience in networking with professionals in their respective fields. Student-athletes will have the opportunity to engage in conversations with team members and hear relevant information to assist them in their post-graduate transition. Student-athlete participants will gain experience, practice interview skills and receive feedback with the overall goal of performance improvement.
The event will bring together 20+ employers and 150 student-athletes. Companies interested in participating in the event should reach out to Houston Athletics Director of Student-Athlete Development Christal Peterson at chpeter2@central.uh.edu no later than April 3.
Light bites and refreshments will be provided. Each booth will have a table and chairs. Companies are responsible for bringing their own tabling materials and signage. To be mindful of space, each company should bring no more than four (4) representatives.
