Cougars Volunteer at River Oaks Fun Run

HOUSTON – The University of Houston track and field and cross-country programs volunteered for a second consecutive year at the River Oaks Elementary Fun Run on Saturday.
"It's a great opportunity for our athletes to give back to the community," Director of Track and Field Will Blackburn said. "This is the second year we've worked with River Oaks Elementary to volunteer at their fun run."
"It is truly a privilege to have the chance to serve and volunteer. I appreciate River Oaks, the board of the fun run and our student-athletes for participating in this annual event."
