Defending Big 12 Champions drop Houston as part of Homecoming victory
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State surged for 21 points in the second quarter and held University of Houston Football's offense in check as the Wildcats defeated the Cougars, 41-0 in Big 12 Conference action Saturday afternoon inside Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

Houston (3-5, 1-4 Big 12) was held to 3 of 14 on third down conversions. Kansas State senior quarterback Will Howard completed his first 12 passes of the game and finished 15 of 17 for 164 yards and two touchdowns. The victory was the sixth consecutive at home for Wildcats (6-2, 4-1 Big 12).

The Cougars were led defensively by sophomore defensive back A.J. Haulcy who registered his fourth career double-digit tackling performance and second in the last three games, totaling 11 stops. Senior defensive lineman David Ugwoegbu recovered a fumble and logged four stops.
