Houston Athletics, Cougar Pride campaign runs through Dec. 31
HOUSTON – To accentuate the significance of the Houston Rise campaign and its role in the rise of Houston Athletics to the Big 12 Conference, the Give 12 drive has been extended and will run through Dec. 31.
Designed to encourage participation from alumni, donors, fans and friends at all levels, the Give 12 drive is also an exciting end of calendar year opportunity to invest in a new era of excellence for Houston Athletics.
To honor those who support the Houston Rise campaign by committing to at least $12 per month for 12 months (or a one-time donation of $144), Houston Athletics has produced a limited number of "I-R12E" Nike Dri-FIT t-shirts.
The shirt personifies the campaign's "can-do" spirit while paying tribute to the importance of participation regardless of amount.
"I-R12E honors those who are now playing a direct and important role in the rise of Houston Athletics to the highest stage of college sports," Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development/Chief Development Officer John Gladchuk said. "Donations at every level matter, with every dollar raised strengthening our competitiveness. Each new gift represents a steppingstone towards championship success in the Big 12."
