Camille Rutherford and Jadon Brome Set for NACAC Championships

Duo set to compete in Costa Rica
HOUSTON – University of Houston Track & Field athletes Camille Rutherford and Jadon Brome are set to compete at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) U-18 & U-23 Championships from July 9-11. The championships are being held in Costa Rica.

Rutherford returns to action just a month removed from her first appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, where she earned a pair of All-America honors for her performances in the 100-meter and 4x100-meter relay. She is set to compete for the Bahamas in the U-20 100-meter on Saturday at 3:55 p.m. CT and the U-20 200-meter on Sunday at 11:20 CT.
Brome returns to action after winning The American Athletic Conference title in the Triple Jump and competing in his first NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round, securing a 16th-place finish. He will be representing Barbados when he competes in the U-23 Triple Jump on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. CT.
