
Houston Announces Summer Golf Camps

Set for June 7-9 at Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Golf program will host its summer camp in early June, and young women 10-18 years old are invited to register.
The camp will be held June 7-9 at Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas. Lunch will be provided for all three days of camp, and a gift will be included. Cost for the camp is $500.
For more information or to register, campers should visit uhcougars.com/golfcamps or call 713-743-8429. Space is limited, and campers are encouraged to register early to reserve their places.
ABOUT HOUSTON WOMEN'S GOLF SUMMER CAMP
The three days of camp will be packed with instruction from Head Coach Gerrod Chadwell, Assistant Coach Lydia Gumm and current UH student-athletes. Campers will learn how to practice like collegiate student-athletes, receive 1-on-1 instruction and learn how to prepare to compete at the collegiate level.

Monday, June 7
– Short game
– Putting: Learning aim point/speed control/proper technique/drills
– Chipping: Bumps and runs/pitching
– Bunkers
– Wedges: Distance control/flighting wedges
Tuesday, June 8
– Swing analysis
– Trackman yardages
– Competitions
Wednesday, June 9
– Review of Day 1 and Day 2
– Camp tournament on the course

Fans are invited to join The P.A.R. 4 Club to support Houston Women's Golf. P.A.R. 4 Club members provide financial support directly to Houston Women's Golf for needs beyond the program's operating budget.
