Women finish 14th at NCAA Regional Meet

Casteberry finishes 58th for women, Vallejo-Bannister in 60th for men
WACO, Texas – Led by Maddy Castleberry, the Houston cross country team finished in 14th place at the NCAA South Central Regionals on Friday morning at the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course.
The women's team recorded 407 points with a total time of 1:55.00 as Arkansas topped the charts with a score of 27.
Castleberry was the first across the finish line for the University of Houston on the women's side. She crossed the line in 58th place with a time of 22:24.5 in the women's 6K. Sondos Moursey followed with a time of 22:50.1 for 80th place.
For the men, Devin Vallejo-Bannister crossed 60th in the men's 10K with a time of 33.01.1. Brandon Seagraves finished closely behind in 66th place with a time of 33:01.1.
