Local guidelines for Houston's visit to New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS – With Houston Football visiting Tulane at 6:30 p.m. CT Thursday from Yulman Stadium, fans will want to familiarize themselves with local COVID guidelines.
In line with city of New Orleans, Tulane Athletics will require proof of documentation of a valid COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours for all attendees over the age of twelve (12) to all Tulane Athletic events.
All attendees over the age of two (2) will be required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth unless actively eating or drinking.
All attendees over the age of 12 must provide one of the following:
Attendees with proper documentation will receive a wristband once approved at the checkpoint. Fans who decide to leave the secured perimeter of the stadium should keep the wristband on and use the express lane at the checkpoint for re-entry into the stadium perimeter.
Visitors should also be aware of Yulman Stadium's clear bag policy. Bags can be 12" wide by 12" tall by 6" deep. Fans are also allowed to bring in a 1-gallon re-sealable plastic storage bag or small clutch purses no larger than 4.5" by 6.5".
Those not attending Thursday's contest can tune in to ESPN and listen in on KPRC AM 950. Houston is looking for its fifth consecutive victory and third on the road. The Cougars will have a bye the following weekend before returning home to face ECU on Oct. 23.

- Proof of vaccine (at least one dose) – your state's verification app showing proof of vaccine, an original CDC vaccination card, a digital photograph or photo copy of vaccination card (both side) or an official vaccine record issued by another state, foreign nation, or the WHO.
- A negative PCR test – paper or digital test results from a PCR COVID-19 test indicating negative results within the past 72 hours. Antigen tests will not be accepted.
