Houston Student-Athletes Continue Classroom Success

HOUSTON – University of Houston student-athletes continued their classroom success by posting a 3.42 GPA during the fall 2020 semester.
For the second straight semester, all 17 of UH's athletics teams earned a better than 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Women's golf led the way among all programs with a 3.71 GPA followed by swimming and diving (3.61), soccer (3.60), softball (3.58) and women's cross country (3.52).
Men's cross country led all men's teams with a 3.49 GPA, followed by men's golf (3.41) and baseball (3.41).
Twenty-five student-athletes received academic degrees during the fall 2020 semester as football led the way with 12 graduates.
A school-record 126 student-athletes were named to the Dean's List following the fall semester. That honor is given to all students who posted a 3.50 minimum GPA during the semester.
Seventeen student-athletes recorded 4.0 GPAs during the semester.
