Houston-North Texas Game Canceled

HOUSTON – The scheduled Sept. 26 matchup between Houston and North Texas has been canceled, both schools announced Wednesday.

"We understand this COVID-related decision North Texas has made to not play Saturday's game and appreciate the consistent dialogue with our program by UNT Athletics Director Wren Baker, his administration and medical staff during this week," UH Vice President for Athletics Chris Pezman said. "I am disappointed for our student-athletes who have continued to focus on competing this season and were ready to play this Saturday. We will continue to work to adjust our schedule with the hopes of playing as soon as we can."

As additional information is announced, adjusted game dates and times will be communicated to ticket holders.

The UH Athletics Ticket Office will also follow up with season ticket holders and single-game ticket buyers regarding the canceled game against North Texas.

Single Game and Mini-Plan Buyers
All single game and mini-plan tickets buyers for the UNT game can exchange their tickets for another 2020 Houston Football game this season by clicking HERE and logging into their account. Once logged-in, they can find the "Exchange" option under the "Manage Your Account" link and follow the instructions.Â

Season Ticket Holders
Due to the fluidity of the 2020 home schedule, Houston Athletics will reconvene with 2020 Football Season Ticket members at a later date to share available options if less than six (6) home games are played this season.
