Lewis to Compete at Pan-Am U20 Championships

Cougar sprinter to compete in Costa Rica
HOUSTON – Houston Track & Field sprinter Frederick Lewis is set to hit the track at the Pan-American U20 Championships in San Jose, Costa Rica July 19-21.

After a stellar performance at the USATF U20 Championships, Lewis will compete at the Pan-American Championships as member of the 4x400-meter relay. Lewis will hit the track for the Cougars alongside Justin Robinson, Matthew Moorer and Trey Johnson, qualifying for the squad after finishing third in the 400-meter dash at the USATF U-20 Championships with a lifetime best 46.66 for third-place in the event.
