Lewis Tabbed for Pan Am U20 Championships

Cougar sprinter to run on 4x400-meter squad in Costa Rica
HOUSTON – University of Houston track & field rising sophomore Frederick Lewis was named to the USATF roster for the 2019 Pan American U20 Athletics Championships July 19-21 in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Lewis is fresh off a lifetime best performance in the 400-meter at the 2019 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships, posting a PR of 46.66 for third-place in the event. With his third-place finish, Lewis will run on the squads 4x400-meter relay team which is nothing new to the sophomore after earning a spot on the Houston's 4x400-meter relay squad at the NCAA Championships earlier this month.
