Hurricane Supply Drive Extended to Tuesday

Free tickets to Saturday’s game for those who make donations at southwest corner of TDECU Stadium
HOUSTON – After a day that saw a steady stream of donations, the Hurricane Florence Supply Drive that is filling the Houston Football equipment truck has been extended to Tuesday. In addition to the extension, the Houston Athletics Department announced free tickets to Saturday night's game vs. Texas Southern will be available to those who make donations Tuesday in support of those impacted on the East Coast.
The Houston Football truck will be stationed on the southwest corner of TDECU Stadium with the drop-off scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and last until 6 p.m. Once filled, the truck, in conjunction with CEVA Logistics, will hit the road for the East Coast.
Those looking to donate relief items are asked to drive into Lot 12A on the south side of TDECU Stadium where volunteers will be stationed to receive items to load on the Houston Football truck.
ITEMS OF NEED

- Bottled water
- Cleaning supplies: mops, mop buckets, brooms, bleach wipes, bleach, garbage bags, bug spray
- Canned ready-to-eat items with pull tops including vegetables and fruit
- Protein in pouches or pull-top cans: tuna, beef stew, chili, canned chicken
- Peanut butter
- Snacks: granola bars, breakfast bars, etc.
- Toiletries
- Diapers
- Baby wipes
- Pet food
