UH Announces RedZone Tailgate Pregame Experience

New pregame fan experience to take place in climate-controlled Indoor Practice Facility
HOUSTON – As part of a constant evaluation of its fan experience, Houston Athletics announced Wednesday the creation of RedZone, a pregame premium fan hospitality and tailgate experience in the climate-controlled Houston Football Indoor Practice Facility.
Available in 2018 prior to Houston's four Saturday home games, the facility will open to fans holding RedZone passes three hours prior to kickoff and will remain open until 30 minutes prior to kickoff to give UH fans the opportunity to enter TDECU Stadium for exciting pregame pageantry including the Spirit of Houston and Cage Sway involving the Houston Football team.

"With our focus on the fan experience at Houston Athletics events and the location of our new indoor practice facility, it made perfect sense to offer Houston fans the opportunity to have an exciting pregame experience in a climate-controlled environment," UH Vice President for Athletics Chris Pezman said. "With appearances from the Spirit of Houston, games and other activities as well as great food and drinks, we expect RedZone will become a premier pregame destination for our fans."
RedZone passes are available for purchase now at UHCougars.com/redzonetix and start as low as $10 per pass while supplies last. Houston fans are encouraged to purchase their passes as soon as possible as limited amounts of passes will be available for each game.
RedZone pass holders will enjoy access to a variety of exclusive food menu options along with liquor, wine and a large selection of beer options along with non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase by fans of age. A variety of entertainment options will also be available in the RedZone including live music, interactive games and activities for all ages.
RedZone is being launched in partnership with IMG, the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Houston Athletics, and operated by IMG Live, the experiential marketing agency of IMG.
