Houston Adds Raelon Singleton to Roster

HOUSTON â€" The Houston Football program announced the addition of graduate transfer receiver Raelon Singleton on Monday. The transfer from Utah is eligible in 2018 with one season of competition remaining.

Singleton arrives in Houston after three seasons with the Utes where he played in 34 games with 19 starts. Utah's second-leading receiver in both his sophomore and junior seasons, the Crosby, Texas, native pulled in 36 receptions for 531 yards and four touchdowns in 2017.
With seven starts in 2016, Singleton totaled 464 yards and four touchdowns on 27 receptions, ranking third in the Pac-12 with an average of 17.2 yards per reception. His first season saw the redshirt freshman pull in six catches for 49 yards in eight games with one start.
Prior to Utah, Singleton was a standout receiver at Crosby High School in Crosby, Texas, totaling 33 receptions for 773 yards and 16 touchdowns in eight games as a senior to earn first team all-area honors. Also an all-area performer in Basketball and a letterman in Track & Field, he pulled in 622 receiving yards and seven touchdowns as a junior.
Singleton is the second graduate transfer to join the Houston program this summer, joining quarterback Quinten Dormady, who arrived in Houston from Tennessee.
