Austin Robinson Granted Additional Year

HOUSTON â€" Houston linebacker Austin Robinson has received a legislative relief waiver from the NCAA which has granted the Pearland, Texas, native a sixth year of eligibility.

Robinson returns to the Houston defense after seeing action in all 12 games last season with four starts. He totaled 33 tackles with four tackles for loss and one sack on the year. Robinson also had two quarterback hurries.
The 2017 season was his second year of action with the Houston program after making 11 appearances in 2016 when he totaled four tackles including 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack.
